Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily. Applications will be received on-line only. There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each application. Demand draft details need to be filled in at the time of on-line registration. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from application fee. However, SC/ST candidates and PH candidates will have to send attested caste certificates and medical certificates respectively by post. On the reverse side of Demand Draft mention your Name, Registration Number and Position Code for which you have applied (SC/ST candidates and PH candidates have to mention these details on the reverse side of attested copy of caste/community certificate and medical certificate respectively) and send it to `The Administrative Officer (RPC), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore - 560 094' superscribing the Position Code on the envelope. Last date for receipt of DD/Caste Certificate/Medical Certificate is June 15, 2006 .

For PH persons orders on reservation to the extent applicable will be extended to the above posts.

Eligibility:

1. B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc : First class or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters).

2. M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg.)/M.Des. : First class or equivalent with minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Final semester/year students are also eligible to apply provided the aggregate of all the previous(including prefinal) semesters/years is as indicated above and the final Degree/PG result is available by September 30, 2006.

Age limit is 35 yrs as on June 08, 2006 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Physically Handicapped are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be screened in for interview based on the bio-data submitted online and for posts number BE001 and BE002, there will be a written test prior to the interview. Written test will be held in the following ten centers: Ahmedabad, Bangalore , Bhopal , Chennai, Delhi , Guwahati, Hyderabad , Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram

Pay :
Selected candidates will be posted as Scientist/Engineer SC in the pay scale of Rs.8000-275-13500. The emoluments in the minimum of the scale will at present be approximately Rs. 17,780/- including all allowances such as HRA, Transport Allowance etc payable in Bangalore. However, the gross emoluments will vary with the place of posting.

ISRO provides an excellent career growth to its employees through Merit Promotion Scheme where the employees are reviewed and promoted to next grade only on merit after a prescribed residency period. Scientist/Engineer recruited with M.E/M.Tech/MSc (Engg) background will be eligible for review to the next grade on completion of two years whereas others will be eligible for review to the next grade of Sci/Engineer `SD' in the scale of pay of Rs.10000-325-15200/- on completion of two years whereas others will be eligible for review to the next grade on completion of four years.

· Short-listed candidates appearing for the written test or interview or both will have to carry the call letter (print out of the e-mail intimating the written test or interview or both) along with a self-attested passport size photograph pasted on it.

· The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.

· Candidates working in the Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies have to produce No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line, at the time of interview.

· If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong or false on verification, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid.

· The candidates attending the interview will be paid Second class rail fare excluding the reservation charges/sleeper charges. However, no TA will be paid for attending the Written Test.

· ISRO reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts, if it so decides.
