Description:
1. Provide administrative management and periodic maintenance of hardware, software and databases supporting intelligence operations and exercises, including Sybase, Sybase Replication
2. Provide operations and maintenance of replication between various security level servers and established future JTC-I exercise and operational replication architectures.
3. Perform Database Management System (DBMS) application software life cycle control, configuration management (CM) and Quality Assurance (QA) of production software to include compliance analysis of the Machine Learning Database Repository (MLDBR) software and documentation within Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DODIIS)/ Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines.
4. Develop and implement DBMS utilities, upgrades, and software custom fixes and patches as required.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve all DBMS system and application problems.
6. Produce after action reports for all system problems.
7. Review system logs and audit records for security related events and provide reports of activities.
8. Update CM inventory and information databases.
9. Create, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
10. Perform Solaris operating system software lifecycle management, installation, configuration and administration.
11. Monitor status of all systems software and run diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
12. Provide technical functions, such as tuning and file storage for system software.
13. Test, integrate and install upgrades, patches and fixes for software and hardware
Required Skills:
