Mumbai Trainee Drive For 2005 passouts

(Colleges from Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West
Bengal, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh excluded)


On account of the torrential rains that have hit the city, the
Freshers 2005 Drive to be held in Mumbai is re-scheduled for
September 10-11, 2005. So, if any of your friends and acquaintances
have missed the chance before but have a strong desire to be a part
of this dynamic organization, here's the opportunity......

If they meet the following eligibility criteria and possess the
requisite qualifications, we welcome their participation in the
drive.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in 10th,
12th & Graduation and PG. (60% should be aggregate of all the
semesters in case of PG/UG)
2. Candidates who have done BE after Diploma need to have 60%
aggregate in both the courses separately (Diploma marks will not be
added to the BE marks for calculating aggregate)
3. Only Candidates graduated in 2005 are eligible to apply (UG
or PG).
4. Candidates with more that two years of gap or break in
studies are not eligible to apply.

Qualifications

Computer Science

1. BE/B Tech/ME/M.Tech/M. Sc. [Computer Science, Information
Science, IT, S/W]
2. MCA [with BCA /BBA/BBM /B.Sc. /B.Com. / (B.A. with
Mathematics and Statistics only)]
3. MS [full time] /MBA [with IT & Systems] with Engineering
background only
4. MCM [with B.Sc. only]
5. PGDIT (Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology)

Non Computer Science

1. BE/B Tech/ ME/M Tech [EEE, ECE, Instrumentation & Control]


Registration

All the eligible candidates would have to register themselves at the
venue itself. They are expected to carry with them the following
documents:

A. Hardcopy of their updated resume.
B. Photocopies of all the mark sheets of 10th/12th/ Graduation
(all the semesters/years) & Post Graduation (all the semesters/
years)
C. 4 Passport size photographs.
D. 2 HB pencils, sharpener and eraser.

Selection Process

Aptitude Test: All the candidates would have to undergo a written
Aptitude Test for duration of 90 minutes. The test comprises of
Quantitative, Verbal and Critical Reasoning.

Interviews: On clearing the Aptitude Test, the candidate would have
to appear for the Interview Process, date and time for which would be
communicated after the test.

PLEASE NOTE

§ The candidate would not be eligible if he / she has
undergone any TCS selection process (test/interview) in the last six
months.
§ Candidates passed out in the year other than 2005 are not
eligible for the test and interview.
§ Candidates clearing the aptitude test will be required to
stay back in Mumbai for 2 days.
§ All the outstation candidates are informed that TCS will not
bear any travel, stay or any ancillary costs. These costs will have
to be borne by the candidates themselves.

pm.
Date of Selection Process: Sept. 10th and 11th, 2005
