Position title Unix System Administrator

Job Description
General requirements: Unix Administrators to support our global UNIX
services and infrastructure. Supporting the growing offices and server
infrastructure in the Asia region will be one of the key
responsibilities. Working in a demanding and fast-paced environment
will be one of the challenges. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
the trait of pioneering innovation. A strong sense of customer
orientation is also expected.

Requirements * 6 to 8 years experience with Linux/UNIX.
* 4+ years running large production systems (more than 500 servers).
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and load balancing.
* Working knowledge of security, web servers, NIS/NFS, MTAs.
* Programming/scripting (BASH, Perl Python, and C).
* Excellent verbal and written skills with outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities * Configure system and network parameters.
* Monitor stability and performance.
* Ensure 24x7 operations.
* Assist with corporate Linux deployment across various platforms.
* Monitor stability and performance.
* Rapidly scale system to meet demand.
* Help develop tools to maintain and monitor the cluster.
* Write proposals, present to management.
* Write comprehensive documentation.

Location * Hyderabad/ Bangalore
