1) Position: SYBASE - ASE

Skills: SYBASE-ASE, Power Builder

(PowerBuilder + Sybase ASE developer)
Job Description:

· Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, migration and re-engineering of existing PowerBuilder applications.

· He will also be required to analyze, design, develop and test Enterprise PowerBuilder applications.

· Knowledge of various design patterns commonly undertaken in today’s multi tiered web application architecture is essential.
EXPERIENCE

· The candidate should have 3+ Years of PowerBuilder development experience and the ability to work within a team environment along with the ability to self-direct.

· He should have 1+ years of experience on Sybase ASE, ASA database with proven SQL expertise

· He should preferably have a Unix background and should be well versed with C, C++, csh, sh, SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers), Sybperl, Ruby, etc.

· The candidate should have been involved in N-tier web application designing and development

· He should have the ability to define business requirements and work directly with end users is a plus.

· Must have experience working with structured development techniques and software release management processes in the development of software systems.

· Must be highly motivated and able to function independently, as well as a member of a cross-functional team.
OTHER SKILLS

· Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor staff.

· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.

· Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

· Strong analytical thinking ability, problem solving skills, and initiative, as well as good research & trouble shooting skills

· Must be able to interact and communicate with customers of varying levels of expertise and authority, ability to learn other applications easily independent Project handling skills

· Must be self-motivated, willing and able to accept responsibility for completing assignments with minimal supervision.
