YOUNG ENGINEERS – GRADUATES / POST GRADUATES

 (0 – 5 Years Experience)

Company has different entry avenues for young engineers - as FOPEs*, Trainee EPC Engineers and as experienced engineers directly into cadres.

 

CHEMICAL/ MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION / ENVIRONMENT/ METALLURGY

Reliance Industries Ltd, which has world class manufacturing facilities at Patalganga (near Mumbai), Hazira (near Surat), Jamnagar, alongwith acquired facilities of IPCL at Baroda, Gandhar (near Bharuch) and Nagothane (near Mumbai) and Relene Petrochemicals (at Navi Mumbai) and MEG plant at Kurkumbh (near Pune),  announces the recruitment of young engineers for its new projects / expansions.

Opportunities exist for Graduate / Post Graduate Engineers with upto 5 years of experience

  • Fresh Engineers (Year of Graduation – 2004 / 2005) – will be considered for the position of FOPEs (Field Operation & Panel Engineers) – with 2 year training. Confirmation / Absorption will be at the end of 1 year.

  • Experienced Engineers – with relevant work experience between 2 to 5 years, will be considered for the positions of Shift Engineers / Maintenance Engineers.

*FOPE Training Scheme:-The company has a very unique training scheme for fresh engineers. Under this scheme, young engineers from all disciplines, work with their own hands, on areas - right from Field Operations to Engineering tasks - both in the Field, Panel rooms & Technical services for 24 months. Of course, they will also be given intensive discipline specific training and relevant exposure. Reliance believes that Field Operation experience though tough initially, provides all-round grooming experience for an engineer to understand ground realities, so that he can contribute better, later. At the end of 2 years, they will be assigned positions as Shift Engineers / Maintenance Engineers.

Selected engineers will get an opportunity to work in world class Petrochemicals / Polyester / Refining Units with state-of-the art technology, sophisticated equipment & instruments and international systems and processes.

Appointment will be at any of the Manufacturing Sites of Reliance or IPCL.

 

CHEMICAL/ MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENTATION / CIVIL

For RIL’s EPC organisation -  REAL (Reliance Engineering Associates Pvt. Ltd.)

REAL is a Reliance Group Company dedicated to Engineering, Procurement and Construction for all “Projects” in both Reliance Group Companies and other Industries, has emerged as one of the biggest of its kind already. It has successfully implemented Mega Projects like the largest Grass Root Refinery at Jamnagar, Oil & Gas installations, Petrochemical & Polyester Plants, Ports, large office complexes etc. and recently countrywide network of optical fibre.

REAL  has an Engineering Office for Refinery and other Petrochemical Plants at Jamanagar and are developing a Corporate Engineering Centre at Mumbai  for Petrochemical and other plants which would be coming up for Reliance group companies. Current Projects in hand include the mega expansion at Jamnagar (estimated cost Rs..200 crores p.a.), Petrol Retail Outlets across the country. Company envisages Projects worth Rs.3000 crores in next three years.

Opportunities exist for Graduate / Post Graduate Engineers with upto 5 years of experience

  • Fresh Engineers – will be considered for the position of ‘Trainee EPC Engineers’  (with 1 year training), Year of Graduation – 2004 / 2005

  • Experienced Engineers – with relevant work experience between 2 to 5 years, will be considered for Engineering positions in Project Design, Construction, and Planning and also in other functions like Procurement & Contracts.

While the initial training will be at Jamnagar or Mumbai, employees may get opportunities at various locations across the country. In many cases it may coincide with the home states, but the same is not guaranteed.


Candidates will be required to appear for Written Tests (Aptitude test and Subject test) & Technical Interview. Compensation will match the Industry standards. Company follows a ‘Cost to Company‘method of payment offering substantial flexibility to the selected candidate, to choose his compensation package based on his own taxation and social needs. Housing facilitiy is available at all manufacturing locations (except at Navi Mumbai and Kurkumbh) at reasonable charges.
